TVET study guides
Every guide below is built from the official DHET Report 191 syllabus for that subject — the real module weightings, the real entry requirements, the real pass mark. No past-paper dump, no guesswork about what the examiner wants.
NATED (N4–N6) is being phased out; NC(V) is not. DHET's teach-out schedule (DHET TVET Circular TC 0134, 24 July 2025) sets the last national examination at Trimester 2 2026 for Engineering N4, Trimester 1 2027 for N5 and Trimester 3 2027 for N6; Business and Services runs a semester behind, ending Semester 1 2028 at N6. The National N Diploma can still be awarded up to 30 June 2029, and qualifications already achieved stay valid. A revised circular has since been issued but not published, so confirm your own dates with your college. The NC(V) guides below are unaffected.
